In a natural site situated at the border of Lyons’ forest and at the heart of the Andelle valley, the château de Vascoeuil displays its regular, French garden and the English park bordered by meanderings and waterfalls of the river Crevon.
The alleys are bordered with beech trees.
The park is a real “open-air” gallery, with permanent sculptures of more than 60 sculptures made in bronze, marble, mosaic and ceramic.
Vascoeuil is a member of “Parks and Gardens of Normandy”.
It is a centre of art and history (Museum Jules Michelet), and hosts temporary exhibitions.
The octagonal tower is from the 12th century, the castle (ISMH) is from the 15th century, and the dove tower from the 17th century.
