Harmony of Art and Nature. The Sculpture Garden, Château de Bois-Guilbert forms a vast space of poetry on seven hectares. It was created in 1985 by Jean-Marc de Pas, sculptor and landscape artist, in his childhood lands, an estate founded in 1620 by his ancestor Charles Le Pesant, cousin of the mother of Pierre and Thomas Corneille, place of childhood then of Pierre Le Pesant de Boisguilbert founding economist under Louis XIV.
Seventy of his works mark a walk through various symbolic spaces: the pond and its island, the garden of the cosmos, the cloister of the four seasons, the garden of the elements, the garden of the winds. A hymn to Life and Nature, this landscaped garden invites reflection on man, time and space.
The Garden, the chapel and the Louis XIII pavilion, the rooms of the castle (18th century) and the workshop are open to visitors.
Place of creation and exhibition of contemporary art.
Visits, events, animations, courses, seminars.
